Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:

“Paradise and the Fire debated. Paradise said: ‘The weak and the poor shall enter me,’ and the Fire said: ‘The tyrants and the proud shall enter me.’ So He said to the Fire: ‘You are My Punishment, I take vengeance through you from whom I will,’ and He said to Paradise: ‘You are My Mercy I show mercy through you to whom I will.'”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ “‏ احْتَجَّتِ الْجَنَّةُ وَالنَّارُ فَقَالَتِ الْجَنَّةُ يَدْخُلُنِي الضُّعَفَاءُ وَالْمَسَاكِينُ ‏.‏ وَقَالَتِ النَّارُ يَدْخُلُنِي الْجَبَّارُونَ وَالْمُتَكَبِّرُونَ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ لِلنَّارِ أَنْتِ عَذَابِي أَنْتَقِمُ بِكِ مِمَّنْ شِئْتُ ‏.‏ وَقَالَ لِلْجَنَّةِ أَنْتِ رَحْمَتِي أَرْحَمُ بِكِ مَنْ شِئْتُ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏

Ebû Hüreyre (r.a.)’den rivâyete göre, Rasûlullah (s.a.v.) şöyle buyurdu:

” Cennet ve Cehennem birbirleriyle münakaşa ettiklerinde; Cennet dedi ki: “Bana güçsüzler ve yoksullar girer.” Cehennem de dedi ki: “Bana da zorbalar büyüklenenler girer.” Bunun üzerine Allah, Cehenneme: “Sen benim azabımsın seninle dilediğimden intikam alırım. Cennete de sen benim rahmetimsin dilediğime seninle rahmet ederim.”

”Maybe your friends do something bad and you don’t do that anymore. But if your friends are doing ignorant things,usually your first thought is “Astaghfirullah (I seek forgiveness from Allah), these people, I can’t believe they are my friends. Such ignorance they do. They do bid’ah, they do kufr, they do shirk, they do haram…they don’t care about anything.Did you forget? You were that person not long ago. That was you. Who guided you? Did you guide yourself?”

Sizi mutlaka biraz korku ve açlık, biraz da mallardan, canlardan ve mahsûllerden bir noksanlık ile imtihân edeceğiz. (Ey Resûlüm!) O hâlde sabredenleri (Cennetle) müjdele!

Wahrlich, Wir werden euch prüfen mit ein wenig Furcht und Hunger und Verlust an Gut und Leben und Früchten; doch gib frohe Botschaft den Geduldigen.

Vamos a probaros con algo de miedo, de hambre, de pérdida de vuestra hacienda, de vuestra vida, de vuestros frutos. Pero anuncia buenas nuevas a los que tienen paciencia.

Très certainement, Nous vous éprouverons par un peu de peur, de faim et de diminution de biens, de personnes et de fruits. Et fais la bonne annonce aux endurants.
