Allah provides for us in ways we can’t see. He protects us in ways we can’t see. What our parents do for us, however, can be seen. We’ve physically experienced their love, mercy, and sacrifice. If we can’t even be grateful to our parents for what we experienced in the seen world, how will we ever be grateful to Allah, Who does everything for us in the unseen world? Being grateful to your parents IS showing gratitude to Allah.

Anne babaya minnet duymak, Allah’a şükran göstermektir.

Say, “Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited to you. [He commands] that you not associate anything with Him, and to parents, good treatment, and do not kill your children out of poverty; We will provide for you and them. And do not approach immoralities – what is apparent of them and what is concealed. And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed] except by [legal] right. This has He instructed you that you may use reason.”

De ki: Rabbinizin size neleri haram kıldığını okuyayım: O’na hiçbir şeyi ortak koşmayın, ana babaya iyilik edin, fakirlik korkusuyla çocuklarınızı öldürmeyin, sizin de onların da rızkını biz veriyoruz. Kötülüklerin açığına da, gizlisine de yaklaşmayın. Haksız yere Allah’ın haram kıldığı cana kıymayın. Düşünesiniz diye Allah size bunları emretti.

Surat Al-‘An`am [6:151]

Kiss your children often, each time you kiss your children your rank in Jannah will increase.

Çocuklarınızı çok öpün, her öpmenizde Cennetteki dereceniz yükselir.

  6. Asalaamu alaikum and merhaba! Lovely post… I didn’t know the part about kissing your children (glad I do it often anyway)! 🙂

    • Wa alaikum salam , Merhaba 🙂

Reported by `Aishah (RA): Some bedouins came to Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and asked: “Do you kiss your children?” He said, “Yes”. They then said: “By Allah, we do not kiss them.” The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, “I cannot help you if Allah has snatched kindness from your hearts”.

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such nice comments on my post ❤

  7. My eyes do weep as I read these words. I come from an existence where I was not shown Love, Semra. As a child I knew not Love and every day of my Life, God (Allah) has taught me what Love is. To have experienced this Love as a child is all any child really wants. To not have this Love in the Life of a child, is hell on earth. By the grace of God, I AM walking in Love, and learning with each new day, how to free myself more from the negligence and abuse I knew as a child. My parents have inspired me to know Love, to share Love, to BE Love, in all I do, and with everything I do with my Petals. Bless you, my sister, for this beautiful message that made me weep. And one last thought. God (Allah) has taught me how to forgive my parents and to Love them for who they are. That, Semra, I consider to be a miracle. (((HUGS))) Amy

    • My dear sister Amy, Thank you , Your comment made me cry….May ALLAH almighty bless you and your family and keep you under His protection. ❤ ❤ xoxoxo

      • My dearest sister, do not weep but rejoice with me. For in order for me to know broken-ness, to know pain, I first had to walk through many fires in order to be able to reach out in Love, True Love and to gain Compassion. God uses ALL for good IF we allow that Power to guide us in all we do. The broken-ness that was in me, and still is to this day, has been reformed into a Mansion of Love, built upon the Rock of Compassionate Love. I am a true testimony of what the Power of God will do when one has ears to hear, eyes to see, and a Heart that is willing to open, even when that Heart has been hurt beyond measure. I am a walking miracle, Semra. Every day I still have to contend with what was done to me in order to overcome “fears”. Yet from out of this too, much wisdom has been gained, that Wisdom which is seen on Petals. Rejoice with me, my sister, that Allah is really working wonders in this humble woman, who is called AmyRose. With Love, Amy

      • I will choose to rejoice with you, maşaAllah ..i love you for the sake of Allah dear sister..Will continue to pray for you…May Allah bless you ❤
