Are you afraid of death? – I’m more afraid of loneliness. Ölümden korkuyor musun? – Yalnızlıktan korktuğum kadar değil. La Vie en Rose
As with all the blessings of life, the main reason for wasting time is because we are not able to grasp the meaning of death correctly, or because we are heedless of death, seeing it as distant from ourselves. However, in a hadith it is said:
“Remember more often the destroyer of pleasures – death.” – [At-Tirmidhi]
Without a doubt, continuing indifference, despite all the prophetic admonitions, will end in a chapter of bitter torment.

Hayattaki bütün nîmetlerde olduğu gibi zaman isrâfının ana sebebi de, ölümü lâyıkıyla idrâk edememek veya bu müthiş hakîkati kendimizden uzak görmek gafletidir. Hâlbuki hadîs-i şerîfte:
“Bütün zevkleri kökünden yok eden ölümü çokça hatırlayınız!” (Tirmizî)
Bu îkâz-ı nebevîye rağmen devâm eden lâkaydîliklerin, günün birinde acı bir azap faslı olacağı muhakkaktır.

Here I am to yoram yap, open my yap (lol). So much of truth here Semra. We lie to self that death is powerless and distant from us. The irony is that were we not already self-apprehended by it, we would not count on the things of this existence to validate our being. For it is since we are dead that only death can give such a character significance and thereby we should know that we need Him (capital H for Him), God.

Dünya bir köprüdür, üzerinden geç, tamirine bakma. Hz.İsa
… He who hopes for a day, may hope for eternity; but the world endures but an hour. Spend it in prayer for the rest is unseen.
My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and many from my descendants. Amin.
Thanks dear Maverick ❤ ❤
