Uncle Ibrahim and the Jewish Boy (Amazing True Story) & Bir Yahudi Çocuğunun Mükemmel Hidayet Hikâyesi: Cadullah el-Kur’an.

islam

The Beginning
Somewhere in France about 50 years ago there was a 50 year old Turkish man, named Ibrahim, who worked in a grocery store. . . This store was located in a building where a Jewish family lived in one of its apartments. The Jewish family had a seven year old son named Jad.
The Child Jad used to go to uncle Ibrahim’s shop everyday to buy necessities for his house. Every time on his way out Jad used to sneak out and steal a piece of chocolate. One day Jad forgot to steal a piece of chocolate. While he was leaving the store uncle Ibrahim called out his name and reminded him to take a piece like he usually did! Jad was extremely shocked because he thought that uncle Ibrahim did not know about his daily theft. He asked uncle Ibrahim to forgive him and made a promise that he would not steal anymore chocolate next time.
Uncle Ibrahim said to him: “No, you will promise me NOT to steal any thing in your life, and in return you can take a piece of chocolate everyday when you leave the store.” … Jad accepted the deal and was very happy … Several years passed and uncle Ibrahim became like a father to Jad … As well as a mother and friend.
If Jad had any problems he would go to uncle Ibrahim and tell him about them. Usually when Jad finished his story, uncle Ibrahim pulled a book out from the stair case in the shop, and gave it to Jad to randomly open to any page. When Jad opened to a page uncle Ibrahim read the two pages that showed up, closed the book, and solved Jad’s problem. Jad used to leave with joy because his stress was gone and gained some peace of mind that his problem has been resolved …
Years passed and that was the relation between Jad and uncle Ibrahim, (advices given by the uncle) the old Turkish Muslim who had no education! After 17 years Jad became a young man. He was 24 while uncle Ibrahim was 67 …
Uncle Ibrahim died but before his death, he left a box for his children to give to Jad as a gift. Uncle Ibrahim put inside that box the book that Jad used to open every time he had visited the shop. Jad learned of uncle Ibrahim’s death when his children gave him the box. Jad was very sad and upset .. Uncle Ibrahim was his savior when he had problems. He helped him even in his worst situations and thought that nothing could help him, uncle Ibrahim was his rescuer.
Days passed ..
One day a problem had occurred to Jad and he remembered uncle Ibrahim and the box that he left for him. He returned to the box and opened it. He found the book that he used to open when he visited uncle’s shop! Jad opened a page in the book but the book was written in Arabic and he did not know it. He went to his Tunisian friend and asked him to read the two pages from the book for him and he did! Jad explained his problem to his friend and his friend was able to find the solution for Jad! Jad was astonished [with the result] and asked his friend: “What is this book?” the Tunisian friend answered, “This is the holy Quran, the book of Muslims!” Jad replied, “How do I become a Muslim?” The Tunisian said: “You say Al- Shahada [that there is no God but Allah and Mohammed is the messenger of Allah] and follow the law of the religion [Al-Sharee’a].” Jad said: “I witness that there is no God but Allah and Mohammed is the messenger of Allah.”
The Muslim Jad Llah …
Jad became a Muslim and chose a name for him “Jad Llah Al-Qurani”. He chose the name to show his respect and greatness to this great book and decided to spend the remainder of his life serving this holy book. Jad Llah studied and mastered the book with full understanding. He started his mission [calling people to Allah] in Europe and many people accepted Islam on his hand. It was estimated around 6000 Jews and Christians were converted to Islam [in Europe] .. One day while he was flipping in his old papers he opened the Quran that was given to him as a gift by uncle Ibrahim. He found a world map at the beginning of the book and on the African continent, there was uncle Ibrahim’s signature. Below the signature was written the verse: 16:125 “أدع إلى سبيل ربك بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة Call unto the way of thy Lord with wisdom and fair exhortation” ! Jad Llah thought that was a sign for him [to go to Africa and invite people to Islam] and it was part of uncle Ibrahim’s Will for him to succeed. He decided to achieve this goal … He left Europe and went to Kenya, South Sudan, and Uganda and its surrounding countries to call people to Allah. Just from the Zawlaw tribes, more than six million people accepted Islam on his hand.
His Death
Jad Llah Al-Qurani, the true Muslim, the eager worker for Allah, dedicated 30 years of his life in Islam inviting people to follow Allah and mostly in the isolated land of Africa . Millions of people accepted Islam from his hard work…. Jad Llah Al-Qurani died in the year 2003 because of diseases that he got in Africa to call people to Allah .. At that time he was 54 years old which was spent for Da’wa (inviting people to Allah) …
The story has not finished yet …!
His Mom, was a fanatic Jew and an educated university teacher. She was converted to Islam last year. She accepted Islam in the year 2005 after two years of her good Muslim son’s death .. She became a Muslim at the age of 70. She said that she spent 30 years of her son’s life fighting him to bring him back to Judaism. With all her experience and education and her skill of convincing people, she admitted that she was not able to convince her son to return. But uncle Ibrahim, the old uneducated man, was able to hook her son’s heart to Islam! She eventually believed and said, “This is the right religion …”
We ask Allah to protect her and be among good people ..
Why did Jad accepted Islam!!??
Jad Llah Al-Qurani said, Uncle Ibrahim and for 17 years he never said “You unbeliever” or “You Jew” , or never even asked him to “Accept Islam” . . . ! Imagine through 17 years he never talked to him about religion or Islam or Judaism! A very old person and had no education was able to attract this child’s heart to the Quran!
A Sheikh asked Jad Llah in one of his meetings about his feeling and about the fact that several millions of people accepted Islam on his hand! He replied that he did not feel so much pride and deserve to be praised so much because (God’s mercy to him) that he gave part of the favor to the wonderful work of uncle Ibrahim.
Dr. Safwat Hujazee said, during a conference in London to study the situation of Darfur [in Sudan] and how to support the needy Muslims from the damage of War and conversion to Christianity, that he met one of Sheikhs of Zawlaw tribe who lived in Darfur and during the meeting Dr. Hujazee asked [the Sheikh]: “Do you know Dr. Jad Llah Al-Qurani?” As soon as the Sheikh heard the name he stood up and asked Dr. Hujazee: “Do you know him?” .. Dr. Hujazee replied: “Yes and we met in Swissland when he was under treatment there” . . The Sheikh suddenly took Dr. Hujazee’s hand and kissed it with happiness, Dr. Hujazee said to him “What are you doing? I did not do something to deserve your behavior!” But the Sheikh replied: “I am not kissing your hand but I am kissing the hand which shook the hand of Dr. Jad Llah Al-Qurani!” Dr. Hujazee asked again: “Did you accept Islam because of Dr. Jad Llah?” … The tribal Sheikh answered: “NO, but I accepted Islam from one who accepted Islam on the hand of Dr. Jad Llah Al-Qurani (God’s mercy to him.)

SubhanAllah, how many people will accept Islam from people who pronounced Islam on the hand of Jad Llah Al-Qurani!? and blesses back to him and to the one who caused Jad Llah’s Islam, uncle Ibrahim who died 30 years ago.

“-Sakın bir daha çalma Cad, hırsızlık büyük bir suçtur. Başkasının hakkına tecavüzdür! Söz ver bana bir daha kimseden almayacağına böyle. Buraya geldiğinde yine al çikolatanı, ama benden hediye olarak” der şefkatle… Bundan sonra Cad ile arkadaş hatta dost olurlar. İbrahim amca 50 yaşında, Cad ise 7 yaşında bir çocuktur. Aradan yıllar geçer. İbrahim Amca bu Yahudi çocuğa hem arkadaş hem baba gibi davranır. Ne zaman Cad’ın bir sıkıntısı olsa, doğru İbrahim amcasına koşar Cad. Onun şefkatli sinesine sığınır. Ailesiyle, arkadaşlarıyla vb. tüm meselelerini anlatır bu dostuna ve nasihatlerini, çözümlerini hayranlıkla dinler ve tatbik eder. Ne zaman bir sıkıntıyla karşılaşsa İbrahim amcasına koşar Cad. İbrahim amcası çekmecesinden bir kitap çıkarır ve Cad’a vererek;
Vasiyet üzerine sandık Cad’a ulaştırılır.
Merak eder Cad, sorar:
“-Bu kitap nedir?”
Tercüme eden Tunuslu; “-Bu Kur’an-ı Kerim’dir, Müslümanların kitabı”
Cad şaşırır, şoktadır! Hiç tereddüt etmeden Cad sorar hemen;
Her geçen gün artar, hidayetine vesile oldukları…
Ama bir çocuğun kalbinin nasıl Kur’an’a bağlanacağını iyi bildi.”
Bir Arap kanalında Kur’an’ı, Ona sarılmayı, Kur’an’la amel etmenin lüzumunu anlatan Mısırlı Tebliğci Dr. Saffet Hicazî, konuşmasının sonunu onun kıssasına ayırmıştı. Gözyaşlarıyla İbrahim amca’yı anlattı. Hele zerafetle, hiç örselemeden yetiştirdiği fidanının, dünyanın dört bir köşesinde, âb-ı hayat dağıtması hiç olacak şey miydi İbrahim amca’nın?
Dr. Saffet Hicazî, bizzat tanışır Cadullah’la ve hikâyesini ondan dinler. Elinden hiç bırakmadığı hayli yıpranmış Kur’an’ı sorduğunda Cadullah;
“-Ammu İbrahim’in (İbrahim Amca) Kur’an’ı işte bu” der, yanında gezdirmektedir hep…
Londra’da, Darfur’a destek ve oradaki Müslümanların meseleleriyle alâkalı bir toplantı sırasında Hıristiyanlaştırılmak istenen Zulu kabilesinin reisiyle karşılaşan Dr. Saffet Hicazî kabile reisine:
“-Sen, Cadullah Kur’anî’yi tanıyor musun?” diye sorunca, adam çok şaşırır ve heyecanla;
“-Evet! Sen nereden tanıyorsun, yoksa gördün mü onu, konuştun mu onunla?” der ve peşpeşe sıralar sorularını.
“-Evet’’ der doktor, ‘‘onunla İsviçre’de karşılaşmıştım.” Bunu söyleyince Saffet Bey, Zulu kabilesinin reisi onun ellerine sarılır, elini yüzünü öper gözyaşları içinde… Dr. Saffet Hicazî:
“-Sen de onun tesiriyle mi İslam’a girdin?” der. O da;
Allah, Cadullah Kur’ani’ye rahmet etsin. Rabbim İbrahim amcaya da rahmet etsin, o gibilerin emsallerini arttırsın… Onların elinden kimler İslam’a girdi Allah bilir. Kapanmayacak bir amel defteri ile Allah’a kavuştu Cadullah ve onun İslam’a girmesine sebep olan İbrahim amca…
Büyük fedakârlık onlarınki… Hele bu asırda! Herkesin maddeye meftun olduğu, herkesin “ben, ben” dediği, kendi çocuklarını bile önemsemeyip nefsinin bitmez tükenmez arzularının peşinde olduğu şu talihsiz asırda..
