BE GENTLE – NAZİK OL !

In a world that is getting tougher by the day, where people are becoming bitter, harder & more self-centred, strive to stay soft-hearted, kind & gentle.

“Be a cushion in a world full of rocks & hard places. Be a gentle soul where everyone else is jaded. Be that person. Because people like that are rarer & more precious than the rarest of jewels in this world.”

People will tell you that your heart will surely get broken if you’re soft & don’t stand up, that you should toughen up or you’ll be taken advantage of. But remember, being soft-hearted, kind & gentle was the noble qualities of the one who is the most beloved to Allah, our Rasool sallallaahu alayhi wasallam. If we strive to keep these qualities despite getting hurt or being taken advantage of, we will be treading our Rasulullah sallallaahu alayhi wasallam’s footsteps. Aand the reward of being soft hearted, kind & gentle is no other than the ultimate…Al Jannah.

The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam said :
“Shall I not tell you who will be forbidden from the fire?
It will be forbidden for every gentle,soft hearted and kind-person”.
[At – Tirmidhi]

You will not enter paradise until you have faith; and you will not complete your faith till you love one another. The best of people is one from whom good accrues to humanity.

Inscribed on the hilt of the Prophet’s sword: ‘Forgive him who wrongs you; join him who cuts you off; do good to him who does evil to you, and speak the truth although it be against yourself.

Sit with those who constantly repent, for they have the softest hearts.

Be a good person but don’t waste time to prove it. ~•~ İyi insan ol, fakat bunu ispatlamak için vakit harcama.

Life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful.

When your failure brings you closer to your Creator, that’s NOT failure. That is your success. Thank the Almighty for it.

A story of wise old man and a cat & Yaşlı bilge bir adam ve bir kedinin hikayesi…

“A wise old man was sitting at the river bank when he saw a cat that had fallen into the water, flailing around, trying to save itself from drowning.

The man decided to save the cat. He stretched his hand out but was scratched by the cat. He pulled his hand back in pain. However, a minute later he stretched his hand out again to save the cat, but it scratched him again, and again he pulled his hand back in pain.

Another minute later he was yet again trying for the third time!!

A man, who was nearby watching what was happening, yelled out:

“O wise man, you have not learned your lesson the first time, nor the second time, and now you are trying to save the cat a third time?”

The wise man paid no heed to that man’s scolding, and kept on trying until he managed to save the cat.

He then walked over to the man, and patted his shoulder saying:

“My son…it is in the cat’s nature to scratch, and it is in my nature to love and have sympathy. Why do you want me to let the cat’s nature overcome mine !?!!”

My son: Treat people according to your nature, not according to theirs, no matter what they are like and no matter how numerous are their actions that harm you and cause you hurt sometimes.

And do not pay heed to all the voices that loudly call out to you to leave behind your good qualities merely because the other party is not deserving of your noble actions.

When you live to give happiness to others, Allaah Subhānahu wa Ta’ālā will send you those who will live to give happiness to you:

“Is the reward for ihsan (good) [anything] but ihsan (good)?” [Ar-Rahman, 55:60]

“Yaşlı bilge bir adam nehir kenarında oturuyordu. Suya düşmüş bir kedi gördü. Kedi kendini boğulmaktan kurtarmak için sağa sola çırpınıyordu.

Adam kediyi kurtarmaya karar verdi. Elini uzattı ama kedi tarafından tırmalanmıştı. Acı içinde elini çekti. Fakat bir dakika sonra kediyi kurtarmak için yine elini uzattı. Ama kedi yine onu tırmaladı. Ve adam tekrar elini acı içinde geri çekti.

Başka bir dakika sonra, üçüncüye tekrar deniyordu.

Yakınlarda izleyen bir adam seslendi:

“Ey bilge adam! Birincisinde dersini öğrenmedin. İkincisinde de öğrenmedin. Ve şimdi kediyi üçüncüye kurtarmaya mi çalışıyorsun?”

Bilge Adam diğer adama hiç aldırış etmeden kediyi kurtarmaya başarana kadar devam etti.

Sonrasında adamın yanına gelip omzuna hafifçe vurup dedi ki:

“Oğlum tırmalamak kedinin doğasında var. Sevmek ve empati duymak ise benim doğamda var. Neden benden kedinin doğasının benimkine üstün gelmesine izin vermemi istiyorsun?

Oğlum, insanlara kendi doğana göre davran, onlarınkine göre değil. Onlar nasıl olurlarsa olsunlar. Sana zarar veren ve kalbinin kırılmasına sebep olan sayısız davranışları olsa bile!

Karşı taraf güzel davranışlarını hak etmiyor diye, iyi özelliklerini arkanda bırakman için sana yüksek sesle seslenen bütün o seslere aldırış etme.

Başka bir insanın mutluluğuna sebep olduğun hiçbir an icin asla pişmanlık duyma, o kişi bunu hak etmese bile!

İyiliği, iyilikle ödüllendirecek bir Rabb’in olduğu gerçeği sana yeterli olsun.”

“İyiliğin karşılığı yalnız iyilik değil midir?” [Rahman Suresi, 55:60]

Are you happy? Mutlu musun? ….All Praise and Thanks be to Allah & Al Hamdulillah.

If you woke up this morning and are healthy .. consider yourself the happiest person for a Million people will die in upcoming days

If you have never suffered from War, Hunger and Isolation .. Consider yourself the happiest person for 500 Million in the World are going through such hardship

If you practice your religion freely with no compulsion or even being murdered; then you are much happier than 3 Billion people in the World

If in your refrigerator there is food, there is clothes on you and upon you there is a roof .. then you are richer than 75 % of the population

If you have a bank account, money in your purse and there is some trifle in your coin box,you belong to 8% of the richest people in this world.

 If your parents are still alive and still married, then you are a rarity..

Finally, as you could read these statistics, consider yourself fortunate; for you are not among 2 Billion people who can’t read ..

So… are you Happy ? 

Eğer bu sabah sağlıklı uyandıysanız, bu hafta hastalıktan ölecek 1 milyon kişiden daha şanslısınız..

Eğer hiç savaşa girmemiş, işkence görmemiş, açlık çekmemişseniz dünyadaki tam 500 milyon kişiden daha şanslısınız.

Eğer evden çıkınca bir kazaya, tutuklanmaya, işkenceye uğrama ihtimaliniz yoksa 3 milyar kişiden daha iyi durumdasınız.

Eğer buzdolabında yiyeceğiniz, sırtınızda giysiniz, üstünüzde çatınız ve uyuyacak yeriniz varsa dünyanın % 75’inden daha zenginsiniz.

Eğer bankada ve cüzdanınızda sizi rahat geçindirecek paranız varsa, birilerine yardım edebiliyorsanız dünyanın ilk % 8 zenginlerindensiniz.

Eğer anna-babanız sağsa ve hala evliyse,  dünyada ender bulunan kişilerdensiniz.

Son olarak, eğer bu yazıyı okuyabiliyorsanız yeryüzündeki 2 milyar okuma-yazma bilmeyen kişiden daha şanslısınız.

Dolayısıyla … mutlu musun?

If you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful.

Eğer Allah’ın ni’metini saysanız onu sayamazsınız. Muhakkak insan, gerçekten çok zalim ve çok nankördür (inkârcıdır).
