Turkish Sufi poet Jalaluddin Rumi’s answer to questions asked by a disciple

What Is Poison?
Rumi – Any thing which is more than our necessity is Poison.
It may be Power, Wealth, Hunger, Ego, Greed, Laziness, Love,
Ambition, Hate or Anything.

What Is Fear?
Rumi – Non acceptance of Uncertainty.
If we accept that uncertainty,
it becomes Adventure.

What Is Envy?
Rumi – Non acceptance of Good in others.
If we accept that Good, it becomes Inspiration.

What Is Anger?
Rumi – Non acceptance of things which are beyond our control.
If we accept, it becomes Tolerance.

What Is Hatred?
Rumi – Non acceptance of person as he/she Is.
If we accept person unconditionally, it becomes LOVE.

Mevlana bir öğrencisinin sorduğu soruları şöyle yanıtlar:

Zehir nedir?
Mevlana – İhtiyacımızdan fazla olan her şey zehirdir;

A man married a very beautiful girl and he loved her very much. One day she developed a skin disease. And slowly she started to lose her beauty. It so happened that one day her husband left for a tour. While returning he met with an accident and lost his eyesight. However their married life continued as usual. But as days passed she lost her beauty gradually. Blind husband did not know this and there was not any difference in their married life. He continued to love her and she also loved him very much.

One day she died. Her death brought him great sorrow. He finished all her last rites and wanted to leave that town.
A man from behind called him and said, now how will you be able to walk all alone? All these days your wife used to help you.
He replied, I am not blind. I was acting, because if she knew l could see her ugliness it would have pained her more than her disease. So I pretended to be blind. She was a very good wife. I only wanted to keep her happy.

Moral:

– Some times it is good for us to act blind and ignore one another’s short comings, in order to be happy.

No matter how many times the teeth bite the tongue, they still stay together in one mouth. That is the spirit of FORGIVENESS.

Even though the eyes don’t see each other, they see things together, blink simultaneously and cry together. That’s UNITY.

May Allah grant us all the spirit of forgiveness, unity and togetherness.

Everything happens for a reason & Her şeyin bir sebebi vardır..

1) I love you not for whom you are, but who i am when i’m by your side.

2) No person deserves your tears, and who deserves them won’t make you cry.

3) Just because someone doesn’t love you as you wish, it doesn’t mean you’re not loved with all his/her being.

4) A true friend is the one, who hold your hand and touches your heart.

5) The worst way to miss someone is, to be seated by him/her and know you’ll never have him/her.

6) Never stop smiling not even when you’re sad, someone might fall in love with your smile.

7) You may only be a person in this world, but for someone you’re the world.

8) Don’t spend time with someone, who doesn’t care spending it with you.

9) Maybe God wants you to meet many wrong people, before you meet the right one,so when it happens you’ll be thankful.

10) Dont cry because it came to an end, smile because it happened.

11) There will always be people who’ll hurt you, so you need to continue trusting, just be careful.

12) Become a better person and be sure to know who you are, before meeting someone new and hoping that person knows who you are.

13) Don’t struggle so much, best things happen when not expected.

― Gabriel García Márquez

1. Seni sen olduğun için degil, seninle birlikte olduğumda ben olduğum için seviyorum.

Hundreds of issues unite us, and only one issue divided us? Don’t try to be triumphant in all differences; sometimes, winning hearts is more important than winning situations. Don’t demolish bridges you built and crossed, for you may need them again one day for your return.

Always hate what is wrong, but do not hate the one who errs. Hate sin with all your heart, but forgive and have mercy on the sinner. Criticize speech, but respect the speaker. Our job is to wipe out the disease, not the patient.

Imam Al Shafi’i Rahimahullah

Bizi birleştiren yüzlerce mesele dururken, bir mesele ayırmamalı. Her tartışmada zaferle çıkmaya çalışma.

I look into your eyes and see the universe not yet born.. &.. Gözlerinin içine bakıyorum ve henüz doğmamış kainatı görüyorum. – Rumi

I once had a thousand desires. But in my one desire to know you all else melted away.

We live in a world where truths are twisted and lies become the truth, people are getting dumber while phones are getting smarter.

We live in a world where food is becoming a luxury and chemicals are piled up at our grocery stores.

We live in a world where humans are cutting down and destroying the trees to write down “Save our Nature” while they are making paper of those fallen stomps.

We live in a world where animals are getting captured, hunted and slaughtered for mankind’s enjoyment instead of our need for hunger.

We live in a world where Our clouds are disappearing, chemical trails now appearing.

We live in a world where people are drinking poison as water and they do the ice bucket challenge with the pure one.

We live in a world where people are more interested of a naked body than a corpse of an innocent soul.

We live in a world when doctors tell you that doing drugs is bad for your health while they are becoming your personal drug dealers.

We live in a world where some women are getting paid to be naked while others are getting fined for being covered.

We live in a world where the person of the truth have no friends and the imposter is the most reliable one.

We live in a world where Banks tricks you that they are holding on to your hard working savings, for your welfare to the Rich worlds but it’s all instead invested for the manslaughter of the world wars.

We live in a world where governments promise you all your privacy while they are monitoring every step you make and do.

We live in a world where people are taking their clothes off to get noticed and to boost their egos with fake likes.

We live in a world when a celebrity dies, there are millions of people in grief and when millions of innocent are slaughtered in a genocide, the world goes silent.

We live in a world where people rather spend their precious time with their selfie sticks instead of their loved ones.

We live in a world where our organic vegetables are about to disappear and they are replaced by poisoned pills.

We live in a world where the authorities are killing their own citizens for protection and tells them at the same time that murder is wrong.

We live in a world where you are injected by vaccines as soon as you are born for your healthy well being in life, while the virus in it kills you before you have the opportunity to open your eyes.

We live in a world where innocent countries are invaded by false grounds, conquered of their human rights and getting slaughtered for greed, and when they finally fight back to defend themselves they are labeled as the terrorists ones.

We live in a world where depression is more common than a happy feeling. People need to take drugs to feel alive because they all are dead inside.

We live in a world where we are judged by our genders, colors, beliefs, ethnicities and appearances just because we are not alike.

We live in a world where a rich man have nothing to show for and the poor one have everything to thank for.

We live in a world where all the religions are preaching peace and harmony while they are slaughtering each other in the name of the same GOD they all are believe in.

We live in a world where people ignores you and take you for granted when you are alive and they all suddenly love you and cherish you, even cry for you. They will tell you the most beautiful things about you, they will say how much you mean to them and how much they miss you when you Die.

Fear Allah and you will have no cause to fear any one…&…Allah’tan kork ki kimseden korkacak bir şeyin kalmasın!

We cannot change the past to rewrite a better beginning. But we can work for the future and strive for a better ending.
