When Einstein saw a person who was living only for pleasure and interested only in having a good time, he would say, “He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would fully suffice”.
If a person is given this large brain, his duty is not to merely satisfy his basic needs, but to create abstract ideas, philosophize, question life and existence. Our Creator speaks to us in the language of events. A person can understand this language merely by thinking, “What is our Creator’s message in this?”

There is an example of a town in France, which was flooding. Some people escaped to the roof of the church. The priest, however, stayed and said, “Let God come. Someone came to save him but the priest said, “God will save me.”He refused to get in, maintaining that God will save him. Then a boat came to rescue him. He refused to get in, maintaining that God will save him. Finally a helicopter came, but he sent that away too. When he passed over to the other world, the priest said, “Oh God, I prayed to you so much, but you did not save me.” Upon hearing this, God responded, “My foolish servant, I sent you a man and you didn’t come. I sent you a boat and you didn’t get in. I sent you a helicopter and you didn’t board. What more could I have done?

The language of events looks like this. We must look at every experience and try to find the meaning that was sent on that occasion…

We must look at every experience and try to find the meaning that was sent on that occasion. When we experience an event, we must think, “I wonder if this is a message from God. God communicates with people in this world through acts. Miracles are particular to prophets, but the Creator has countless ways in which to address us. God appears in the world under the name, al-Hakim (The All-Wise), and this name necessitates the existence of acts. If you do not abide these acts, it means that you misunderstand the attributes of God. God does not give without effort. We see that beautiful things are always begotten through tribulation. The laws of psychology have already been laid down, for these are in fact God’s laws. Acting in accordance with them does not hinder a person’s freewill, but it also does not absolve people from responsibility.

Olay dili buna benzerdir. Yaşadığımız her şeye dikkatle bakıp onun vesilesiyle gönderilen manayı bulmaya çalışmak…

Eğer sen sebeplere riayet etmiyorsan Allah in sıfatlarını yanlış biliyorsun demektir.  Allah çalışmadan vermiyor. Güzel şeylerin hep çileyle elde edildiğini görüyoruz. Koyulmuş psikoloji yasalari var; işte bunlar Allah’ın yasaları. Onlara uygun davranabilmek insanın özgür iradesini engellemiyor. İnsanın sorumluluğunu da ortadan kaldırmıyor.

For those tired of holding on, wondering when things will change, know that the beauty is in the struggle. The Almighty is true to His word. Patience!

The Almighty loves those who show real patience. They don’t give up. They don’t feel hopeless. They struggle and strive; all for His sake.

Sabret!

Allah gerçekten sabır gösterenleri sever. Onlar asla pes etmezler, umutsuzluğa kapılmazlar. Sırf Allah rızası için çabalayıp didinirler.

Mufti Ismail Menk

So be patient. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And ask forgiveness for your sin and exalt [ Allah ] with praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning.

O halde sabret.

Surah Ghafir [40:55]

O Allah, adorn us with the beauty of faith … Allah’ım! Bizi iman ziyneti ile süsle …

O Allah, by Your knowledge of the unseen and Your power over creation, keep me alive so long as You know such life to be good for me and take me if You know death to be better for me.

O Allah, make me fearful of You whether in secret or in public and I ask You to make me true in speech, in times of pleasure and anger.I ask you to make me moderate in times of wealth and poverty and I ask You for everlasting bliss and joy which will never cease.I ask You to make me pleased with what You have decreed and for an easy life after death.I ask You for the sweetness of looking upon Your Face and a longing to encounter You in a manner which does not entail a calamity which will bring about harm nor a trial which will cause deviation.

O Allah, beautify us with the adornment of faith and make us of those who guide and are rightly guided.

Prophet Muhammad (Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him)

”… And He is the Forgiving, the Loving . . . . . (Surah al-Buruj, 14)

A person’s most useful asset is not the head full of knowledge, but a heart full of love, an ear ready to listen and a hand willing to help.

PROMISES OF ALLAH TO THE BELIEVERS:

1. But, We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars. [Quran, 29: 3]

2. “And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah, We would have opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth; but they denied [the messengers], so We seized them for what they were earning.” [Quran, 7: 96]

3. “And from wherever you go out [for prayer], turn your face toward al-Masjid al-Haram. And wherever you [believers] may be, turn your faces toward it in order that the people will not have any argument against you, except for those of them who commit wrong; so fear them not but fear Me. And [it is] so I may complete My favor upon you and that you may be guided.” [Quran, 2: 150]

4. “Indeed, there is for him (Shaitaan) no authority over those who have believed and rely upon their Lord.” [Quran, 16: 99]

5. Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds – indeed, We will not allow to be lost the reward of any who did well in deeds. [Quran, 18: 30]

6. “Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur’an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment.” [Quran, 9: 111]

7. “Verily Allah will defend (from ill) those who believe, verily, Allah loves not any that is a traitor to faith or shows ingratitude.” (Quran 22:38)

Allah loves humans but hates their sins. This means that although bad deeds merit Allah’s disapproval and subsequent punishment, they also invoke His infinite mercy on a weak creature whom He has lovingly created, to whom He has given life, and whom He has nurtured with gifts and bounty.

Why women cry ? Kadınlar neden ağlar?

Posted in KADIN VE AİLE, The articles in English & stories with tags , , , on 23/02/2018 by Semra Polat

A little boy asked his mother, “Why are you crying?”

“Because I need to” she said.

“I don’t understand,” he said.

His mother just hugged him and said, “And you never will.”

Later the little boy asked his father, “Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?”

“All women cry for no reason,” his dad answered carelessly.

The little boy, still wondering why women cry, finally asked the old Wise Man. “He surely knows the answer”, he thought.

“Why do women cry so easily?”

The Wise Man answered:

“When Allah made the woman she had to be special. He made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort.

He gave an inner strength to endure both childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.

He gave her a toughness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.

He gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child hurts her badly.

He gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart. He gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.

And lastly, He gave her a tear. This is hers and only hers exclusively to use whenever she needs it. She needs no reason, no explanation, its hers.

You see my son, the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the beauty of her face, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is her piety and must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart – the place where love resides.”

The little boy got the answer and never asked the question again.

May Allah SWT bless all mothers and all woman in all the world and give them strength to be strong.

“This world is just temporary conveniences, and the best comfort in this world is a righteous women.”

“Dünya geçici bir faydadan ibarettir. Onun fayda sağlayan en hayırlı varlığı dindar kadındır.”

(Muslim)

“This world is just temporary conveniences, and the best comfort in this world is a righteous women.”

“Dünya geçici bir faydadan ibarettir. Onun fayda sağlayan en hayırlı varlığı dindar kadındır.”

There is no compulsion in religion. Truth stands out clear from error…/… Dinde zorlama yoktur. Çünkü doğruluk sapıklıktan iyice ayrılmıştır.

The foundation stone of the whole scheme is service. Service to the people, a service that will lighten, brighten, and make more profitable the lives of the majority who do the necessary work of the world.

True freedom is like an evergreen tree, which is free as well as restrained. While every tree is subjected to the same restrictions by nature, these restrictions are imposed to optimize the growth and development of a tree’s latent potential.

Freedom is a natural right of man, a spiritual privilege, a moral prerogative, and, above all, a religious duty. The Islamic concept of freedom is an article of faith, a solemn command from the Supreme Creator. It is built on the following fundamental principles. First, man’s conscience is subject to Allah only, to Whom every man is directly responsible. Secondly, every human being is personally responsible for his deeds and he alone is entitled to reap the fruits of his work. Thirdly, Allah has delegated to man the responsibility to decide for himself. Fourthly, man is sufficiently provided with spiritual guidance and endowed with rational qualities that enable him to make responsible, sound choices. Within the framework of this Islamic concept of freedom, there is no room for religious persecutions, class conflict, or racial prejudice. The individual’s right of freedom is as sacred as his right of Life; freedom is the equivalent of Life itself.

Anyone of you who sees wrong, let him undo it with his hand; and if he cannot, then let him speak against it with his tongue, and if he cannot do this either, then (let him abhor it) with his heart, and this is the least of faith.

The best of people is one from whom good accrues to humanity.

Deal gently with the people, and be not harsh; cheer them and condemn them not.”
(Prophet Muhummad- Peace be upon him)

There is no compulsion in religion. Truth stands out clear from error. Whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah has grasped the strongest bond that never breaks. Allahs knows all, and hears all things. (Qur’an, 2:256)

The Truth is from your Lord. Let him who wills, believe, and let him who wills, disbelieve. (Qur’an, 18:29)
