He who loses his mother loses a pure soul who blesses and guards him constantly . . . Kahlil Gibran
The sorrowful spirit finds rest when united with a similar one. They join affectionately, as a stranger is cheered when he sees another stranger in a strange land. Hearts that are united through the medium of sorrow will not be separated by the glory of happiness. Love that is cleansed by tears will remain externally pure and beautiful.
― Kahlil Gibran, The Broken Wings

This is so very true. My Mom passed away in 1998 and I still miss Her. Mother and child have a bond not easily broken. When I lost my Mother it was like a piece of me died also. Of course I know that Mom is in Heaven but Holidays are still rough. Especially Christmas, Her Birthday and Mother’s Day. However one day we will be reunited in Paradise.

Sevgili Semra
Rabbimiz Yüce Allah’a ‹cc› Senden ebeden razı olsun inşallah…

Khalil Gibran’in “The Prophet’i cok seviyorum, ama, bu, uzgunum, dogru degil, cunku benim annem bana hic sevmedi, hic bana bakmadi, hic beni korumadu. Yani, annem, bir “pure soul” degildi.
