Life and Death & Leben und Tod & Vida y Muerte & Vita e Morte & Vie et Mort & Yaşam ve Ölüm !

semra,yaşam

sem-90

Death asked Life: “Why does everyone hate me but love you?” To which Life replied “Because I am a beautiful lie and you are a painful truth.”

Bir gün ölüm yaşama sordu :“ Neden herkes benden nefret etmesine rağmen seni seviyor ? ” Yaşam cevap verdi : “ Çünkü ,ben güzel bir yalanım ve sen acı bir gerçek.

Live as you please! Yet this life of yours will not last long; you will certainly die one day. You will certainly part with those flavors which you think of day and night and which you hold so fast to. Whatever you are fond of in the world, you will have to bid farewell to all! Do whatever you can! But do not forget that you will have to account for all your doings!

Keyfine göre yaşa! Fakat bu yaşaman uzun sürmiyecek, birgün elbette öleceksin. Gece gündüz düşündüğün, sımsıkı sarıldığın lezzetlerden elbette ayrılacaksın. Dünyanın nesini seversen sev, hepsine veda edeceksin! Elinden geleni yap! Fakat unutma ki, her yaptığının Hesabını vereceksin!

  8. Your words are not only beautiful, as you most certainly are, but also meaningful, as most of your posts are…we are all living in a great lie that life is and wasting our time fighting and killing one another in the name of narrow beliefs spewing hatred to divide and kill people…. Temple is a six letter word, church is a six letter word and mosque is also a six letter word; likewise, Geeta is a five letter word, Bible is a five letter word, Quran is also a five letter word. All these are words of God (call it Krishna, Jesus, Allah) meant to bind us in love and harmony and lead us to our eternal heavenly abode. I love your messages of peace and goodwill, Semra…May Allah keep u blessed….masha Allah… Raj.

  20. Hi Semra. I am not a materialistic person yet life revolves around material gain. I appreciate the sun, air, writing and enjoying nature living another day in peace is a bonus. Thank you so much for liking my poem ‘ Warming!’ Be Safe and well. The Foureyed Poet.

  21. Growing up as a young girl and later as a young woman I can still remember my Dad responding to my complaints with the saying, “I complained because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet.” Both my parents, now deceased, were born in 1930. They survived the Great Depression, World War II and Jim Crow (America’s apartheid). People born in the 1920s and 1930s learned to be satisfied, to make do, to be content , to work hard and to save. Honesty, integrity and faith in God was what guided your life. If a neighbor was in trouble or needed help, you went over to their house no matter the time of day or night and helped them. I was born in the late 1950s and reaped the fruits of their labor. My brother and I are the harvest of their faith. Somehow decades past the “Greatest Generation” we have gotten away from our core values. However I believe that blogs like yours help us to look at ourselves in a true and revealing way and to follow God whether we be Christians or Muslims.

    • Peace be upon you dear sister,

Jews, Christians and Muslims all believe in the same Allah …Thank you so much for sharing this a part of your life with us…May Allah bless you and your family❤

      • Amen Sister. We are all children of Abraham and all people no matter what faith are children of God. All creation praises the Creator!! God Bless!
