O my world worshipping soul!

Does your slackness in worship and remissness in the prescribed prayers arise from the multiplicity of your worldly occupations, or because you cannot find time due to the struggle for livelihood? Were you created only for this world that you spend all your time on it?

You know that in regard to your abilities you are superior to all the animals, but in regard to procuring the necessities of worldly life you cannot compete with even a sparrow. So why can you not understand that your basic duty is not to labour like an animal, but to strive for a true, perpetual life, like a true human being.

O my soul!

Know that yesterday has left you, and as for tomorrow, you have nothing to prove that it will be yours. In which case, know that your true life is the present day. So throw at least one of its hours into a mosque or prayer-mat, a coffer for the hereafter like a reserve fund, set up for the true future.

SEM.,

  1. Beautiful. A call to prayer! How this is SO needed in this world. I have a special place with a special book reserved for “time out” from this world. I also bring that Place with me in my every day life, walking in Peace and living in Love. Bless you, Semra. Bless you. Love, Amy

    • Thank you my dear Amy,May you always be in Allah swt’s loving hands…<3

      • Thank you. And Bless you. (((HUGS))) Amy

      • Semra, as I was involved in one of my house chores today, the thought came to me regarding what I was shown prayer to truly be. Prayer is an offering of our Hearts, a way of honoring our God, and to worship that God in our daily lives. In other words, I was shown that not only do I pray in the Silence, speaking to God, and then meditating to Listen to God, but as well, my entire life becomes a prayer, as a flower does when She opens Her petals to reveal Her Heart. When I adapt this attitude and act from Love as the Divine Being I am, my life blossoms into Holiness, a Prayer, Incense that is pleasing to the Nose of God. Love is God, God is Love …. Allah is Love, Love is Allah. So I am sharing with you what was shown to me. My Life Canvas is being painted in Love, a Holy Prayer to God. Love, Amy

      • Say, “What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication? Quran -25:77

Dear Amy,Keep me in your prayers, please.May Allah bless you in this world, and the here after. ❤

      • Email me, Semra. If you want me to pray specifically for you, email me. This is my life, my sister. I pray for others. Even those who do not ask, I pray for. I send you my Heart with my Love, Your Sister, Amy

      • Dearest Semra, IF you are not comfortable with specifics, I still pray for you. I go now on my bike, to commune with God, in Nature, and I pray for you. There are sometimes no words, just a feeling in my “Heart”, which I then allow to flow to God. “Know you are Loved” (((HUGS))) Amy

      • My dear sister Amy,

Your prayers mean a lot to me and I cannot thank you enough…I pray that Allah (swt) will bless you all in this life and in the hereafter with the choicest blessings..<3

      • Dear sister, My Heart led me how to pray for you and I shall continue to do so every time my Heart brings you to Mind. I am humbled that you have spoken these words to me, and yes, Semra, I am truly Blessed by Allah. Just yesterday, I found myself in the throes of such Gratitude and Bliss, just worshipping Allah, saying again and again, “Thank You, Thank You …. How I Love You!” Know, just know, you are Loved and I shall continue praying. From my Heart, Amy

  2. Hello dear friend,
This video is beautiful, sending a clear message to everyone believing in God. Thank you. The attached song almost brought me to tears. I wish there was a load speaker to play for the world. No matter the religion lessons can be learned. I enjoy our exchanging of videos. It helps me open my mind to music I am not familiar with. We are blessed to have so much available in English. If people open their mind and heart to understand Islam is not what we see playing out on the nightly news. That’s the world I want to live in, coexistence for all who live their lives in peace for. Thanks for opening my mind this morning. I’m smiling. Hope you enjoy the video. I heading back to hear more of his music and message.
    Have a great weekend. 🙂
